While processing of BSY, due to distinctive shrinkage, the high-shrink element shrinks and the low-shrink element comes out of the fabric because of the micro-loops, thereby giving the fabric brilliant fall and texture. Thus the product comes out with a very nice “textured” effect which is also known as brushed effect or peach skin effect or terry loop effect. It depends on making of the fabric and characteristics of the component yarn used in it.

The yarns are categorized on the basis of a special shrink-bulk effect i.e. when the fabric is made from them is exposed to over-feeding or wet-finishing.
